I don't think playing this game is going to help that. You've said that your son is having some behavioural ideas at nursery.

At 4 years old children still have a huge imagination and many children that age are still sorting out what's real and what's not real and think that many children's TV programs are real places. Also, your husband's argument that he will know it's not real is invalid. As another poster said, it's a 12 rated game. IMO Street Fighter 4 is not an appropriate game for a 4 year old. My kids (Age 3 and 5) are allowed supervised game time, but they do only play age appropriate games. I am usually one of the people who posts in favour of children being allowed computer time.

I wouldn't let him play any of the army games way to graphic etc but his favourite cartoon characters why not he sees them on the tv and reads the comics he watches spiderman on the tv nad his auntie bought spiderman on the xbox for him for his 4th birthday 2 weeks ago he is more than happy swinging around the town yes he gets to beat a few bad guys but he sees spiderman in the cartoon do it aswell.he has only once got an attitude with me about what he is doing and had to come off the computer and those are my rules if he gets attitude or copies anywhere but while playing he gets the computer taken away and he understands that.
What age to you have to be to play fantage how to#
yet he wouldn't learn his numbers or how to count so someone suggested alternatives and yes I caved on sonic racing for his 3rd birthday yes age 7 but come on its a blue hedgehog racing a car within 3 weeks my son could count and knew his numbers up to 10 learning from where he placed in the races so not an educational tool I know but it worked. I'm in 2 minds about games etc my son loves the computer games and he is supervised and only has set times and there are rules for his behaviour while playing etc. So what i want to ask is.what age would you allow your children to play with this and do you think i am just being mean? Well he has gone against my wishes and bought the damn thing now and i am trying my best to keep that game hidden and hope son forgets lol (I'm ok with him playing sonic the hedgehog and other such adventure games on there only)

Husbands argument is that it is ok for our son to play it as its just a game and son will be able to distinguish what is wrong from right (i.e., he will know that these fights only happen in games and are not to be carried out in real life with your friends) Husband thinks it's all a bit of fun ''let him enjoy his childhood, stop being so uptight blah blah blah!!'' Obviously, we argued about this incessantly.my argument is of course that it is NOT suitable for a 4yr old, especially street fighter.oh come on?!!! He is already having behavioural issues at nursery which haven't improved over a long period of 6/7 months and now my husband thinks it is ok to expose my toddler to violent aggressive games?! I have a nearly 4 yr old and his dad has gone out and bought a playstation 3 for him.with a game called 'Street Fighter 4'!!
